Sometimes the coolest design books come from our (not-so-distant) past. This hardcover tome, "The Office Book: Ideas and Designs for Contemporary Work Spaces," was published in the pre-internet early '80s, and the photos are all slick conference spaces and outdated technology in the absolute best ways. You may not find top ideas for current workspaces, but it's a delicious step into the offices of yesteryear, and a great gift (for your boss, maybe?!?). Don't miss the typed inscription pasted on the interior of this one, dated 1983.
